The Old Watermill is a very comfortable and well-equipped property in a lovely and peaceful location, and Anne and Andy are friendly and helpful hosts. We spent a very enjoyable week there in May.

Had a superb holiday at the mill from 4/3/11 to 7/3/11.Great location and Anne & Andy superb hosts providing a warm welcome and useful advice on the area and local eateries.Highly recommended.

Fantastic property, fantastic weekend. The kids loved playing hide and seek all over the house and feeding the sheep. Anne and Andy were extremely kind to us, even offering to babysit the kids for half an hour when we both needed to be out! A more relaxing venue or weekend I can't remember. We will definitely be back.

27-30 Aug 2010 Lovely welcome. One of the cleaniest cottages we've ever stayed in. Facilities and accommodation excellent. Stunning location in beautiful surrounding countryside.

Apologies to Ann for not doing this sooner. We stayed at the Mill over Christmas (Dec 21st to 28th); two adults,one 17 yr old,one 14 yr old and one dog. We had a really fantastic time - as I wrote in the Visitors Book, it felt a privilege to be allowed to stay. They have done a really good job with the mill, it was just magnificent. We were pretty absorbed with just locking the world out and enjoying the Mill but did get out a bit. They even provided snow - how idyllic!! Would recommend to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in a bit of "us" time and pretend to be rural villages for a week or so. Would definitely return, perhaps in the summer next time to see the difference. Thank you both.

This was our best holiday ever!
We consider ourselves very lucky to have found the Water Mill on the Internet.
What a wonderful place!
We felt at home and relaxed from the moment we drove up the driveway.
Anne and Andy were delightful and made us feel most welcome.
We will be back.

The most relaxing place we have ever stayed in. Hubby looked very relaxed on the river bank. Would love to come back again some day. the mill was really beautiful along with the views. Did not want to leave. will have to stay longer next time. Thanks to Ann and Andy for allowing us to rent for a few days. Great hosts. Thank you both very much.
